Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43mm - Sunken date wheel modification Hi, I recently bought myself an GF Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43mm with an A7750 movement and a black dial on a black leather strap from Hont. Step 1 : Take off the strap of the watch. Step 2 : Remove the back cover with the right opening tool. Step 3 : Remove the movement from the case by losing the three screws. Step 4 : Remove the metal spacer ring from the movement by losing the three screws. Date change movement would start at about 11ish and then hermit finally made it to 12am, switch. Now, after I received it back from Breitling, through Tourneau, the date makes its complete change at 12:03. You can easily get the shiny case brushed from a watchmaker. And the sunken date mod is also available. You can try n find it here or on RWI. N that’s it. Flaws fixed. It’s really not that big of a deal. The watch is very beautiful and one of my favorite watches so far, but the sunken date wheel bothered me a lot. After some researches on RWI and Reddit, I read that some people already successfully performed an modification to correct the sunken date wheel issue.
It will change around midnight indicating if the watch is in the AM or PM. Once you determine that the watch is outside of the 'danger zone' (that's after 3:00 am) then you can move the crown to position two and set the date using the quick set feature. I can change the date manually in the second position but if I change the time manually after midnight the date doesn't change. If the time is set and the date is set correctly it still will not change when the time passes midnight.
